Believe In Yourself: Our Thoughts Have Power

“Our Thoughts Become Reality”

The powers of our thoughts are an essential factor to our overall success in life. When we’re on the journey to success and we are in “changing mindset” stage. It can be difficult to truly understand how powerful our thoughts are and how they can affect us. The first step we have to do is changing our thoughts and messages that we allow entering our mind. Without doing so we can fall into a trap of fear and complacency. Here are five methods anyone can use to get their thoughts align to reach their predestined greatness.

1. Appreciate the joys of life – Sometimes throughout our life we can get bogged down with life and this can affect our thoughts. We take our joys and blessings for granted, but when take pride or joy in these blessings. Our thoughts will automatically improve and will help us on our journey.

2. Help someone – Helping people is a great way to forget about the problems we have and move our focus to the person we are helping. Also, it gives us peace of mind about what we’re going through in our lives.

3. Mediate daily – This is imperative to change our thoughts, it gives us a great chance to reflect on the unlimited, positive aspects of our lives. Thus, is can be changeling to do this every day with our busy schedule but we only need maybe five to ten minutes really make a difference.

4. Make a commitment to change – Just hoping our thoughts magically become positive this unfortunately is not the case. We have to be committed to working and making constant changes.

5. Keep positive people around – Surround yourself with positive thinkers. Feed off of their positive energy and use it to help fuel your own. Keep your distance from those who live on negativity as they tend to drain our energy. When we have positivity around us constantly it helps our personal development.

Great article Jay. I truly believe that our thoughts and mind sets have a direct relationship to the level of success we achieve, as well as how quickly we achieve it. Positive thinking and self talk are a basic element of success.
The point you make about helping others is in my opinion, the most important element here. When we help others, it gives us a sense of happiness and comfort within ourselves. The more people we help, the more positivity we allow into our our lives. When you live a more positive life, you become exponentially more successful.
Thanks for the post jay, keep it up!

It’s so hard to believe in yourself these days with social media and all the things we see on it. But recently, I have learned to build my confidence by saying to myself ‘ we don’t all have the same priorities and goals so there is no need to compare myself with anybody or feel inferior to anyone’
This helps me a lot and keeps me confident
    Thanks for sharing these points
I haven’t meditated in a while and I do miss it

Learning to cut negative people out of my life was a tough one. We hold on to time and memories not realizing that these people are toxic. Once I figured it out and accepted that they were a stumbling block I was able to move on without them.
