“Love is blind… When I’m in love can I see?”

This quote was said by a friend of mine who once said “why is love so confusing”? Many times love is described as a powerful pleasure that one might can’t find the words to explain. Other times love can be considered harsh, cold and unforgiving it all depends on what side of love glasses we’re looking through. Love can provide us with a feeling that even money can’t buy, but it can also give us pain that seems like it will never end. No matter our age or experience love is always a topic that we’re all still trying understand and figure out. This brings up the question why is love so confusing to many of us who have experienced or would like to experience what love has to offer?

Perception of Love

Often times throughout life society, our family and the media sometimes cloud our view of love. We watch different movies, Television shows or YouTube videos that portray a type of love that may be unrealistic for someone who’s not in character. This can be become problematic, because idealizing the image of love shown to us can ruin even a healthy relationship. Thus, making love an already confusing process even more confusing. Not to mention in today’s tech era were meeting someone in person is becoming absolute. When most people are swiping right (online dating) or meeting someone on a social network.

Final Thoughts
